Leveraging Fiverr BtB and Affiliate Opportunities

A free course to help teach freelancers on Fiverr how to make money using the service!

The final Fiverr freelancer topic we'll be covering in this core set of courses is how to make passive income through Business to Business (BtB) and affiliate deals on Fiverr.

It's nice to do the work once, and get paid a percentage every time the resource that you created gets used. It's this kind of passive (or mostly passive) income that can help you plan for retirement, and give you more hours to do the things that you really enjoy. Freelancers should always be looking for passive income opportunities. This course will help you to spot them.

Much like my other web based courses, this one is completely free. If you would like to thank me, please use my affiliate links for joining Fiverr, for Fiverr's Learn Courses, for joining Fiverr Business, and for becoming a Fiverr Affiliate.

BtB and Affiliate Opportunities On Fiverr

You aren't the only freelancer in town. And looking outside of the freelancing world, there are probably firms out there who hire a bunch of people just like you on a full time basis.

That means there are opportunities to do all kinds of projects and services that other businesses need, and reuse that same framework for future clients. That's assume that the client is just buying the product of your work, and not the 'source'.

For example, if you create and host a certification website for a client's real estate firm, you've learned a technique that can be used over and over again. If you remove the specific questions about real estate and the branding, you've got yourself a test prep engine for all manner of industries. Why not create a gig that sells and maintains test prep websites? Again, as long as the client bought the service and not the actual source code, you can reuse the vast majority of what you created.

Of course anyone who takes you up on that gig will generate active income, but every client who pays for site hosting and maintenance will generate you passive income. Heck, you can even subcontract the maintenance out if anything ever does go wrong.

Similar opportunities exist in just about every field offered on Fiverr. Businesses might pay to put you on retainer, meaning that you'll support them if the need ever arises. Retainer deals have a small risk attached if you take too many of them, and several emergencies kick off at the same time. You'll definitely want to look into subcontracting if you're handling a dozen retainers at once, so you can offload work as needed.

Remember that Fiverr will take their 20% for whatever the initial gig might be, and if you use their site to generate monthly or yearly maintenance deals. Price your services accordingly.

Using Fiverr to Generate BtB Opportunities

The Fiverr Affiliate program will allow you to get paid simply for being helpful. That might sound too good to be true, but believe me, Fiverr gets plenty out of this deal.

Every time you refer a client to another Fiverr professional, you can use a special affiliate link. If they buy services from that professional through your link, you get paid a fixed fee or a percentage of what the client spends, depending on the type of link you choose to generate.

This entire website is funded by affiliate links. It's a great way to get paid for offering helpful advice to people. You can do that via a formal website, or using social media links, or just responding to inquiries in E-mail and chat. This is most effective when you research the Fiverr freelancers that might be most helpful to the client, and suggest them specifically.

Simply join the Fiverr Affiliate program and follow the instructions to get your own links, and start making passive income off of your expertise.
